Lydia Knorr, MHSc, Registered Dietitian

Lydia Knorr obtained both her Masters and undergraduate degrees in Nutrition from Ryerson University. She completed a dietetic internship at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener-Waterloo and began practicing in the field of dietetics immediately thereafter.  Today, with nearly two decades in the industry, Lydia has a wealth of nutrition information from which to draw upon. The breadth of her experience extends from work in media, to private consulting, to management in healthcare operations, to contract positions in business and industry, to academics where for the past seven years she has instructed part-time in the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University. Lydia’s keen interest in nutrition stems from her own life experiences of trying to find the perfect balance between food and health as well as her desire to be a great role model for her husband and three daughters. With her combined in-field and academic experience, and a surname strongly associated with food, Lydia is an ideal candidate to speak on the subject of nutrition, health and wellness.
