Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) cooked white or brown rice
  • 1/2 *avocado, mashed
  • 1/2 *banana, mashed
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) unsweetened applesauce

Directions

  1. Stir together rice, avocado, banana and applesauce until well combined.
  2. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days.

Notes

Avocado is a source of 20 different nutrients including fibre, folic acid and vitamin E, which are all essential for a healthy baby. Bananas provide vitamin B6, vitamin C, potassium and fibre which aid in baby’s healthy growth and development.
